I Stack cups.
In the early summer of 2012, I started stacking cups. Sport Stacking is a sport, where competitors stack 9 or 12 specially designed cups in predetermined sequences as fast as you can. You really do need to see it to believe it
I started cubing around Christmastime 2011, and to compete I needed a special mat and timer. This caused me to enter the world of competitive cup stacking, as the WCA used the same equipment as the WSSA. As you can imagine, I was hooked. After YouTubing cup stacking, I was fascinated and proceeded to buy my very first set from Amazon UK ("SO" pinks for the record). From there my obsession escalated quickly; practicing 4-5 hours a day at my peak. I went from a 20 second cycle, to 15, to 10 seconds and lower and lower until my times were faster than all 3 British records. As of October 2014, I have a 6.9xx second cycle.
Currently I am one of the fastest girls in the UK.
So, what's next? The UK National Championships are around the corner, to be hosted in London in Oct/Nov , and from there, qualification for the WSSA World Sport Stacking Championships (WSSC) in Canada.
I am currently searching for sponsors to enable me to go to Canada and compete for Team GB. So spread the word, and lets get more children involved in stacking.
